Fall and Winter Tigersharks SMSL
MHSCA Hall of Fame Coach Sarah Eubanks founded the Tecumseh Tigersharks in 2000. Coach Eubanks has coached multiple Olympic Trials qualifiers and Michigan State Champions. Tecumseh Tigersharks is a part of the SMSL swim league for swimmers age 5-18. We are a year round team that competes in the Fall, Winter, and Summer seasons. We are offer high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. Our goal is to work with each athlete to achieve success at their ability level.
​Athletes are individually coached according to their ability within a group setting. The main objective is to see that each athlete achieves the highest level of accomplishment that he or she can attain during the competitive season. Although individual accomplishment is important, we also focus on the importance of being on a team.
Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your practice time and wait on the pool bench for your coach to call for practice to begin. If you are dropping your swimmer off for practice, please pick them up no more than 10 minutes after practice ends.
Dual meets are held during the week. Warm up starts at 5:15 and meets start at 6:00. Championships are held on a weekend. Swimmers may compete in 3 events at dual meets and 4 events at Championships. Even if your swimmer is not quite ready for the speciality stroke, they should still come to the meet. In order to be eligible for the Championship meet, you must compete in 1 dual meet.

To sign up for Tigersharks, you DO NOT need an Active trial membership.
We are so excited to announce that we will be joining the WISC(Washtenaw Interclub Swim Conference) league for the summer season. We will be combining with the Dundee Dragons for the summer season. Dundee will practice at their pool and we will practice at ours and we will combine for the meets. This league includes diving so we will be offering a diving club this summer too. Summer Tigersharks begins June 3. Our first meet will be Saturday June 22 for swimming and Friday June 21 for diving.
WISC is an age-group swimming and diving league with 5 friendly dual meets in the summer. The season ends with a week-long Championship Meet in late July. There are currently 18 teams divided into 3 divisions competing in WISC. WISC's mission is to promote competitive swimming and diving at all levels, teach good sportsmanship, and encourage fun!
Dive meets are on Friday and usually start at 5:00pm with warm-ups at 4:00pm. Swim meets are on Saturday and usually start at 9:00am with warm-ups at 8:00am. Most meets are done before noon. Meets scheduled around July 4 will be rescheduled. Not all WISC clubs have a dive team and/or facilities to host a dive meet. If a team has a dive team, but not a proper board, the meet can be held at the club with the proper facilities. In order to be eligible for the Championship meet, you must compete in 2 dual meets.
Tigersharks White
This group is for swimmers just starting out on the swim team. Swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards on their front and back.

This group is for swimmers who have knowledge of the 4 competitive strokes. Emphasis will be on stroke technique and building endurance. $225 See Practice Schedule below

This group is for swimmers who are proficient in all 4 strokes and are able to complete a higher intensity workout.

Diving
Learn the basics of springboard diving. All divers must be able to swim in the deep end, dive off the diving board head first frontward and backward. Diving runs 2/3-3/12 1 day/week or 2 days/week. Monday and Wednesday 5:30-6:30pm
